GIVING THANKS

Giving daily thanks has always been an important part of life for Native peoples.  The six nations of the Haudenosaunee, or Iroquois, who live in New York and parts of Canada, express their thanks in a daily speech known as the

"Thanksgiving Address".

I shared a version of this with grade 5 today, and we hope you enjoy the thankful sentiment!

Wishing everyone in our Grade 5 community

a wonderful holiday!
