Well, well, well! Now we CERTAINLY have some budding authors in grade 5! Some children have even opted to sit in the "Author's Chair" to share their creative writing prompt from TODAY, nonetheless---inspired by my collection of name patches, of course! Some of the stories were really imaginative for sure--ask your local fifth grade expert for details!
ALSO, we asked grade 5 to finish the sentence below, and I am publishing their sentences ON THE BLOGGERAMA FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE!!!
Here is a small sample....
FINISH THIS SENTENCE. IF I HAD THE PRINCIPAL'S JOB, I WOULD....
"...make every class able to do what they want and need." -S
"...let everyone bring in a pet of their choice to school." -A
"...have a crafting class for the kids once a week. We would craft all sorts of things like puppets, posters and more." -MM
"...check all the classrooms and see who is absent. If they were missing, I would assign extra homework." -R
"...supply the school with 99,999 cookies." -CM
